Audio Damage Quanta Granular Synthesizer – Live Performance! Endlich gefunden!
Endlich – ich suche seit sehr langer Zeit einen spielbaren Granular-Synthesizer, der nicht zu eingeschränkt ist. Es gab IMMER etwas, was unfassbar nervt. Er hatte keine Filterhüllkurven, war irgendwie eingeschränkt oder ließ keine Audiofiles zu. Quanta ist ein Granularsampler und hat dazu einen Oszillator und einen Rauschgenerator mit Färbung (Filterung), außerdem hat er eine normale spielbare „Tastatur“, denn die meisten besseren Tools konnte man nicht tonal spielen (vollkommen absurd) – hier kann man alles – man kann im Sampler herumfahren und festhalten, diesen modulieren und es gibt 4 ENVs, 2 LFOs, 2 Filter und eine Modulationsmatrix. Man kann Audio einladen und Sounds speichern. Das Teil ist nicht so umständlich, dass man es kaum noch bedienen kann auf einer Bühne und nicht zu simpel, dass man einfach nicht mehr damit arbeiten kann. Sofort gekauft, wird vermutlich mein neues Livetool – mein heiß geliebtes altes Granulartool war einfach und kann live samplen – dafür hat es nur eine Lautstärkehüllkurve. Alles andere war meist irgendwie begrenzt. Also – Lieber Chris Randal – das ist ein super Teil – und es gibt das Ding auch für den Mac und PC. Genau so wie es in iOS ist.
today I discovered Audio Damages Quanta – it doesn lack of things I always missed in other tools for my stage performance – they were too simple, had no filter envelope or even no tonal control / keyboard control – or I needed to jump around and could not really perform and play with it – this one is the first that I can call perfect – it does not have a live sampling mode like my other tool got (touch the mic and record the sample directly into the granular sampler) but it has all of those modes I want – I can move the Sound and got 4 envelopes and 2 LFOS to control position, grains, lengths etc – and it has an extra osc as well along with a noise generator with colour control – so – this will be my live machine replacing all those things except the one that can instantly record.. thank you – it’s worth the 8€. even more.
